Employee Spotlight: Meet Raphael | Account Manager | WorkCast

In our latest employee spotlight, we're highlighting Raphael Bartolome, Account Manager based out of  our Seattle office. 

Tell us about what you do at WorkCast?
I am the primary Account Manager for North America and thus, oversee the overall health and growth of our key accounts.  As the main point of contact, I look to make sure our clients' questions are being answered and their needs are being met, while equally looking for opportunities for them to get the most value from our platform and services.

Describe a typical day for you at WorkCast
My days are usually pretty busy, which makes them fun. They consist of a lot of emails, meetings, calls, and coffee. I also spend a lot of time working on account reviews, strategic planning, generating quotes for prospective clients and negotiating contracts.  

What's your favorite thing about WorkCast?
I think what makes us most successful as a team is that we're all working with the same goal in mind - to help our clients and events succeed. The level of support our team is able to offer is a big part of why our customer retention is so high, and why some of the biggest brands in the world have chosen to work with our team for their events. 

What advice do you have for companies that want to run webinars? 
Give it a go. It doesn’t hurt to follow the practices of leading organizations.  Whether you’re new to webinars or have a seasoned team spinning up events weekly, remember content is king and preparation is everything.

Now let's chat about you outside of work....

Any local Seattle recommendations for the crowd? 
It's easy to fall down a hipster path with this and recommend the latest trend or fad in the city, but I'll just keep it real with a Seattle staple. Go to Dick's. It's an old school drive-in serving up burgers, fries and shakes, and have some of the best burgers in the city. 

Which song are you currently hooked on?  
If you're familiar with my favorite local spot above, then there's a chance we're head bobbing to the same tune at the moment. Posse on Broadway by Sir Mix-A-Lot.

And since it is the holiday season, what is your favorite holiday dish that you're looking forward to?  
After recommending Dick's, I'm just thinking about eating two cheese and a fry, which is how a local would order two cheeseburgers and fries.
